I don't think it's possible to connect with aliens to be honest. Let's think about it for a bit.

Most of the advanced life forms wouldn't be able to detect us, as the speed of the light is just ....not good enough when compared to the distance between the galaxies. Advanced life forms would still witness just dinosaurs roaming on Earth and nothing more....not to mention that galaxies are drifting away from each other. So, at the end of the day, the universe is pretty much impossible to conquer unless a wormhole actually exists out there!
What do you guys think?

I believe that black holes are wormholes and we just don't have the tech to actually enter them currently. Maybe I'm just crazy thinking this but meh lol, it's what I believe in.
 
I think most advanced life forms are smart enough to know that us Humans are still too immature and primitive to be reasoned with. We still squabble over resources and emotions with each other instead of working together to ensure the only planet we're currently capable of living on endures for future generations. We're still much too violent as a species, and that probably invokes a sense of fear into any other more evolved life forms.

As far as traveling the great expanse of the Universe, I think that all of that is done via Quantum theory. Any other method of traveling these great distances is too problematic and much too costly in terms of resources-- it's peak inefficiency. Tesla was onto something back in the 1930s. Frequency, Vibration, and Energy. Perhaps aliens are already here, but just operating at a different frequency, or even a different phase?

Honestly, I believe that blackholes are just another part of the cycle of a star's life, like one giant cycle. Blackholes do burp so I think when the gravity passes a specific threshold, it reignites as a star once again.
