Have you ever felt too vested in an anime relationship?

i see one of my besties crying today because her ship sunk in an anime
i was taken aback lol. there were times i get upset over this but not to the point of shedding tears
 
Hrmmm, I kind of did between Edward and Winry in FMA, but got tired of them beating around the bush.
