Just think about it before answering. I usually like anime characters who are different from me.
 
i think both.
sometimes i like them because they are similar but sometimes it's the opposite. it all depends on the character really
 
I can relate better if I feel like they are me, but seeing them different also gives me ideas what life could have been like.
