but i think there are only a few anime which are bane to the existence of anime. i remember dropping psychic wars and it literally made me sick.

Any anime that would need to be very diluted in order to appear in animated format. If its manga version can get away with more risky themes, like says trauma, then it is a big disservice to have it adapted just to have the themes watered down to the point the characters reaction no longer feel appropriate for what is going on or their development gets lost because they change things.
