I'm gonna go with gore. I am okay with tons of blood to convey severity. Seeing detailed guts or the flesh in wounds. Actually seeing the violence in detailed close up of each part disturbs me way more than the classic slash and then buckets of blood spilling out like garden sprinklers.

Yeah. Basically in Mexico our open Tv was trying to fill space so they bought anime from Japan so series from Kimba, Heidi, Saint Seiya, Escaflowne, Dr. slump, Dragon ball, etc were airing during the kids timeslots. So a lot of us grew up watching anime before we even knew how to read. :ROFLMAO...
