Yeah. Basically in Mexico our open Tv was trying to fill space so they bought anime from Japan so series from Kimba, Heidi, Saint Seiya, Escaflowne, Dr. slump, Dragon ball, etc were airing during the kids timeslots. So a lot of us grew up watching anime before we even knew how to read. :ROFLMAO...

Technically both happened around the same age, however at the time I didn't know I was watching anime. If we're taking that in account, then definitely I got into gaming first.
